Surgery went alright

Hey All,

My dad had surgery on Wednesday. During the surgery, the doctor found a 2nd anurism, but the new one wasn't nearly as bad as the first. The unfortunate thing is that the stroke he had in July was worse than we'd thought, or the initial doctor had thought as well.

THe surgeon did say that the surgery went as well as it could have. Dad seems to be in good spirits and frame of mind. When I was talking to my mom yesterday, he was chowing down and laughing with my sister...so that is a good sign.

Right now, it appears that he will be able to come home (I am in Texarkana for about a week) on Sunday. Please keep praying that his recovery goes well.
