Random Thoughts of a Unique Mind

Hi

Hey everyone...I am still here....sorta anyway. It's been a very busy and frustrating couple of weeks in some ways. In others, it's been great. Earlier this week I took two days off so that I could have a really long weekend to go home and see my family. I got to spend plenty of time with my parents, my middle sister and oldest nephew and niece. That was good and it's always great to be able to spend time with family. This was my last chance to see them before Christmas and more than likely before the first of the year. As you can imagine, life as a FedEx manager gets really crazy from November until the end of the year.

The bad part is that I have gotten really really sick. Let's just say that I have been running an almost constant fever since Tuesday and that food has not exactly been agreeing with my stomach. NO FOOD has been. Not even simple stuff like crackers and pudding. If I don't feel any better by Monday I will make a doctors appointment here in Tuscaloosa. The bad part of that is that I have to find a doctor taking new patients and one who accepts my insurance. I dunno if it's a bug that I caught or what, but this is miserable.

I need to find a doctor here anyway so that I can get some work done. It's been about six years since I had any scans/work done on my 'cancer' so it's probably about time to have those checked out. Considering that it is a genetic disorder and I have really had no problems in the past few years, I don't know what, if anything that the insurance company will say. Regardless, I need to have it done.

Other than that, life is pretty boring. Keep your fingers crossed for me as over the next month, I will be teaching at least two and possibly three week long classes to new drivers with our facility. It's a pretty challenging thing to do, and I expect to hit some rough spots, but I think I'll do alright.

Hope that everyone is doing well. Keep your comments and emails coming as I really do enjoy them.

God Bless
